Wear It Wednesday: Denim Shirt

Denim denim denim: It's everywhere and I love it! Finally found my own denim shirt at Nordies. Splurged a bit - at $49 - but it's been worth it! I wear it all the time and it's a definite staple. Anywho, this trend isn't just for casual Friday, ladies! So versatile, your denim shirt can be worn with white pants, a flowy sheer maxi, or a knee length pencil skirt (shown here). Have fun with this easy trend, as it's likely to match basically anything and everything already in your closet! XX.

Snag Their Style: Kadik

Kadik of Kadik Babik is a Polish beauty with a look that puts denim back on the map. The revival of the denim shirt really excites me...though I have yet to purchase the perfect one for my own closet! Lucky for us, wearing denim on denim and failing to match the two shades is no longer considered a faux pas...which makes this look that much easier to pull off with items we may already own! This simple combo makes for the perfect weekend outfit. XX.

Wear It Wednesday: Lace-Up Boots

Military inspired lace-ups have been around for awhile now, obviously, but
have recently become completely mainstream. You can't go anywhere without
bumping into a fabulous pair of these boots. And, of course, there are a few
ways to incorporate them into your own wardrobe.

Short, flat, full lace-ups are the most "grunge" version, for lack of a better
word. These can look great with a pair of worn in, cut-off denim shorts and a
plaid button up. And if you've been blessed with the stems to pull this off, by
all means go for it! It's laid back and comfortable - my favorite way to dress.

Knee highs are great to wear with a simple shirt dress. Super easy and
the perfect combo between girly and edgy which is always a fun idea to play
with.

Oxford booties are also hugely popular and look best worn with a good pair
of skinnies. If you're super committed to the look (which, let's be honest, is
99% of fashion) you could wear these booties with a pair of cute, frilly socks
peeking out the top and a skirt or dress of some kind. (Something I wish I had
the legs for!)

Have fun! XX.
