bumping into a fabulous pair of these boots. And, of course, there are a few

Short, flat, full lace-ups are the most "grunge" version, for lack of a better
word. These can look great with a pair of worn in, cut-off denim shorts and a
plaid button up. And if you've been blessed with the stems to pull this off, by
all means go for it! It's laid back and comfortable - my favorite way to dress.

Knee highs are great to wear with a simple shirt dress. Super easy and

Oxford booties are also hugely popular and look best worn with a good pair
of skinnies. If you're super committed to the look (which, let's be honest, is
99% of fashion) you could wear these booties with a pair of cute, frilly socks
peeking out the top and a skirt or dress of some kind. (Something I wish I had
the legs for!)
